Young Life Camp

We would love for your middle school student to join us for our weekend camp trip to Carolina Point! All middle school students in Forsyth County are invited to join us. We will travel to camp on charter buses, have packed WyldLife clubs, all-you-can-eat meals, and enjoy the beautiful camp created just for us!! See more about Carolina Point on their website here.

Our high school leaders as well as some additional adults will spend the weekend in the mountains with their middle school friends. It will be the best weekend of the year!

WHERE: Carolina Point- A Young Life camp in Brevard, NC

WHEN: February 7, 2025 - February 9, 2025

Departure: Friday (2/7) at approximately 5pm from Sprouts (530 Lakeland Plaza, Cumming, GA)

Return: Sunday (2/9) afternoon (appx 5pm) to Sprouts (530 Lakeland Plaza, Cumming, GA 30041)

COST: $285 [A deposit of $100 is required to hold your spot.]

FAQ

1. What is housing like?

We house girls with girls and boys with boys. Your child will be with the other students from their middle school with their WyldLife leaders that have been getting to know them all year! The rooms have bunk beds to sleep 12-16 in a room with a bathroom attached. Girls' rooms are in girl cabins and boys' rooms are in boy cabins. We also will have an adult in every room with the students and high school leaders. All leaders and staff on the weekend have been trained, interviewed and received a background check.

2. What is the transportation?

We will have 2 charter buses take us up to Carolina Point and back. We will stop in Gainesville to pick up a small group of their WyldLife group. Sharing a bus with them allows us to keep costs lower for everyone! There will be no other stops.

3. How can I get in touch with my child?

We will collect your child's electronics (phones, Apple watches, ipads, laptops, gaming devices, etc) shortly before we arrive at camp. These will be labeled with your child's name and kept in the office while we are at camp. They will be returned to them on the bus ride home. This helps students be present without distraction while at camp for the weekend. It often ends up being one of the best parts of the trip for most students!

You can always reach the office to pass along messages to your child, and there are phones available for your children to make outgoing calls as well. The leaders on the trip will have their phones and be available should you need to get in touch with your child!
